This week begins the 2014 Men's US Open at Pinehurst No 2. and is the 15 year anniversary of Payne Stewart's dramatic victory on 72nd hole to win the Open over Phil Mickelson. Since then the course has gone over a complete renovation and will play very different than it did in 1999 or 2005. Phil is a player to watch again this week and hopes to recapture the magic he felt 15 years ago. New players to watch include Jordan Speith after his runner up finish at the Masters, along with Masters Champion Bubba Watson. World number one Adam Scott looks to have his best finish in the US Open this year along with fellow Aussie Jason Day. Other players I feel that have a good shot at winning are Sergio Garcia, Jason Dufner, Rickie Fowler, Matt Kuchar, and Rory McIlory.

It is on my bucket list to play Pinehurst No. 2. I love watching the Open every year.
